Product: Emea Absolute Return Hedge Fund

Description: The group is launching a long/short equity vehicle run by Marina Akopian, targeting annual returns of 20% with volatility of around 15%.

Product: Student Success fund

Description: The Isle of Man-domiciled fund investing in student accommodation has re-opened to investors for the first time since 2003. This follows its acquisition of properties in Manchester, Glasgow and Aberdeen. The product seeks annualised returns of 8%-10%.

Product: One Year Fixed Rate Deposit Account

Description: The product pays 4.5% gross pa and is available to existing customers with a minimum of £5,000. For new customers the minimum is £10,000. The maximum investment is £1m.

Product: UK Growth fund

Description: The group has launched an offshore mirror version of the UK onshore Walker Crips UK Growth fund. Collins Stewart has the right to distribute it into Europe, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

Product: Luxembourg Sicav

Description: The group is looking to add a global property fund along with single country Russia and India portfolios and a new energy vehicle. This will sit alongside the Asian Property fund, run by Boon Hong Yeo and David Scott, which it brought out in July.

Product: Melchior Indian Opportunities

Description: The group is preparing to launch this Mauritius-domiciled, Dublin-listed product run by U R Bhat from Mumbai. The fund, benchmarked against the BSE 500 Index, will have a portfolio of 25-35 holdings.

Derbyshire (Isle of Man)

Product: Rate Tracker Account

Description: The product, which tracks the UK base rate within a defined margin of 0.25%, has been added in to the collective redemption bonds on offer from Royal Skandia, Axa Isle of Man and Clerical Medical International.

F&C Asset Management

Product: Citrine

Description: European long/short equity fund run by Frederic Desage-Bonnet was originally launched in May 2004 with e50m in seed money. It is now being opened up to the general market. It looks to produce annualised returns of 10%-12% and the group intends to cap it at e300m.

Product: Asia Pacific Hedge Fund

Description: Klaus Bockstaller, a former fund manager at Barings, is to run an Asia long/ short equity product. He already runs an emerging markets hedge fund for the group, and is targeting 15%-20%pa returns with 8%pa volatility

Product: Premier Ultra

Description: A regular savings plan aimed at ultra high net worth individuals in the Middle East, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South America. The minimum investment is $1,500 per month and lump sums can also be made, with a minimum of $3,000.

Product: Asia Pacific Property Equities

Description: A Luxembourg-based portfolio managed by Chris Reily. The vehicle will have around half its assets in real estate investment trusts with the remainder in property shares. There is a minimum investment of $2,500, an initial charge of up to 5% and an annual fee of 1.2%.

HSBC Bank International

Product: Japan Market Movement fund

Description: Linked to the Nikkei 225, with a three-year life and offering 70% of the upside in the market, it is one of five products launched by the bank. The five, all available until 13 December, also include offerings linked to the Hang Seng in Hong Kong and a euro zone property index.

Product: Marina Suites, Dubai

Description: The group is selling apartments in a Dubai complex to be completed in 2007. As a further incentive investors will be guaranteed an 8% annual return for the first three years of their investment.

Product: European High Yield Bond fund

Description: A Dublin-based portfolio run by James Gledhill has just been launched by the group. The portfolio, with £35m in assets, aims for a yield of 5% to 5.5%pa and has some 55% in high yield bonds with 45% in investment grade paper.

Product: Prosper 80 Bond

Description: A multi-strategy hedge funds product with a medium-term note provided by Barclays providing a guarantee. The vehicle, looking to provide cash plus 4%pa returns, has a minimum investment of $10,000 or euro equivalent.

Product: Investment Transfer and Income Release Scheme

Description: The product is aimed at Britons owning property in Spain and is designed to reduce the amount of Spanish IHT payable. Investors take out a loan against their property provided by either Rothschilds or Surrenda Link

Product: International Prudence Bond

Description: Twenty funds have been added to the range, taking the total number of investment choices to 45. Among the groups represented in the new tranche are Fidelity, M&G, HSBC, Barings and Morgan Stanley

Product: Investment Portfolio Bond

Description: The offshore life office has added the Artemis Capital and Artemis Income funds to the range of third party links available. The total number of new funds it had added since August 2005 is now 16. The group is looking to expand choice further in the first quarter of next year.

Product: Global Hedge Fund

Description: The group is putting a capital protected bond around its Cayman-domiciled fund of hedge funds. The bond looks to produce returns of 3%-5% above Libor after fees. The Fof invests in up to 30 underlying products covering a range of strategies including event driven, global macro and long/short equity.

Product: Discounted Gift Trust

Description: The group is looking to launch this product from its Dublin base at the start of next year. Discounted gift trusts are proving to be popular at present because so many people want to receive an income while mitigating IHT.

SVM Asset Management

Product: European Growth and UK Growth funds

Description: The two Dublin-based funds are to be closed by year's end and investors will be offered a rollover into the UK onshore versions. The funds have £24m in assets between them and their current managers are departing the group.
