Ignis Asset Management has appointed a five-strong European distribution team plus support staff as part of the expansion of its distribution capabilities into Continental Europe.
Starting in September, the team will primarily be responsible for the company's internationally registered products in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Iberia and the Benelux regions.
Based in Switzerland, Philip Goldsmith, managing director Europe, will lead the team as well as being responsible for distribution in France and French speaking territories.
He will be joined by former New Star colleagues André Haubensack, Mauro Loran, Arcangelo Barletta and Ghislaine Fournigault who will be regional directors for Germanic countries, Iberia and Latin America, Italy and Tricino plus Benelux respectively.
