Allianz Global Investors landed the award for the Best International Fund Management Group for its Luxembourg-based range of funds, with JO Hambro Capital Management being highly commended.

The awards, which are in their 11th year, are judged by an independent panel of industry practitioners and experts who analysed submissions from the product providers.

The fund management category uses an initial performance screen complied by Morningstar before the investment judges looked at qualitative elements such as fund manager research capabilities and the depth of fund manager talent.

There will be a full supplement of all the winning groups and providers in Professional Adviser on 15 July.
