Invesco reinforces sales team in the Nordics
Invesco has appointed Fredrik Cygnaeus as Head of Wholesale Sales for the Nordic region to strengthen its competitive positioning in these markets. Based in the new Invesco office in Stockholm, Cygnaeus will be joining the asset management company beginning of August from his current position at Fidelity.
Olivier Brouwers, Head of Wholesale Sales Benelux-Nordics at Invesco said, “This appointment allows us to consolidate and develop further the Nordic region, a region where over the last five years Invesco has steadily increased its presence and built well-established relationships with financial advisors, asset managers and institutional investors.”  www.invesco.com

Bank Sarasin opens branch in Lucerne
Bank Sarasin has opened a new branch in Lucerne. Situated at Schwanenplatz 4, this latest office is the sixth Swiss location, alongside Basel, Berne, Geneva, Lugano and Zurich, of the internationally active private banking group. The manager is Markus Koch, who says his branch will be offering clients its tailor-made solutions covering all aspects of sustainable asset management and financial planning. “The Lucerne team can call on many years of extensive experience in private banking as well as an excellent network of contacts in the region.” www.sarasin.com
              
Lloyds appoints new man in Geneva
Lloyds Banking Group has appointed Russell Galley as managing director of its International Wealth division based in Geneva. Galley said, “ We will grow our international wealth business. Our strength will be in targeting expatriates and affluent international customers with strong links to the UK." www.lloydsbankinggroup.com
