Skandia International has appointed Victor France as its sales director. France’s chief area of responsibility will be overseeing the company’s entire sales operation including the Middle East, South America, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Africa, Europe and the UK

France is also tasked with ensuring Skandia International’s continued business growth and distribution strategy across all these regions.  Skandia International has £17bn funds under management (as at 30th June 2011) and recorded IFRS adjusted operating profit of £42m for the first six months of 2011.

France brings over 20 years of experience in leading and developing sales teams across a broad range of sectors within the financial services industry.  First, he spent five years as national sales manager at Prudential, after which he headed the business partner channel at AXA Sun Life. His experience also includes strategic sales and business development roles with a number of global business and IT service providers, where he was responsible for developing innovative business solutions to the financial services industry.  For the past three years, France built a consultancy business advising wealth managers and platform providers on global distribution and business development strategies.

Steven Levin, chief executive officer at Skandia International, comments, “I am confident that Victor’s knowledge and consistent track record in developing and executing global sales and market strategies will continue driving our business to increasingly higher levels.”
