RBC expands its investment offering

Royal Bank of Canada (RB) Wealth Management has made several appointments to boost its onshore and offshore advisory services.

Daniel Vaysleyb has been appointed as Director and Head of Offshore Advisory, based in Jersey and reporting to Guy Huntrods. Mr Vaysleyb joins from UBS AG in London where he was a Portfolio Specialist focusing on Eastern Europe, Israel, Greece and South Asian markets. Prior to this, he was an Investment Advisory Specialist at UBS Financial Services, Americas, responsible for the Central US and New York Metro regions.

Guy Huntrods has been appointed as Director and Advisory Desk Head. Based in London, Mr Huntrods will lead both the onshore and offshore advisory businesses and will report to Lynne Jones, Head of Advisory and Product Specialists, British Isles. Mr Huntrods joins RBC Wealth Management with over thirty years’ experience, most recently at Bank of Ireland Global Markets in London where he was Deputy Head within the Corporate Sales department.

Frédérique Carrier joins as Director and European Equities Specialist within the Portfolio Strategy team reporting to George King, Head of Portfolio Strategy & Investment. With twenty years of experience, Ms Carrier joins RBC Wealth Management from Williams de Broe / Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander Investment Management where she was an Investment Director. Based in London, Ms Carrier will work closely with the investment advisor and relationship management teams in helping to provide equity-based solutions to new and existing clients.
