American Century Investments has launched the American Century US All Cap Growth Fund as part of its Luxembourg-registered UCITS III fund range.

The fund seeks long-term capital growth by investing in companies with improving business fundamentals and will be managed by David Hollond, Chief Investment Officer, US Growth Equity, Mid & Small Cap and Michael Orndorff, Portfolio Manager.

The fund’s strategy mirrors the company's American Century All Cap Growth Fund, which is a US mutual fund and has a four-star overall rating from Morningstar.

The fund managers will use a combination of quantitative tools and fundamental analysis to find companies of all sizes showing accelerating revenue and earnings growth plus positive price momentum.

Michael Green, American Century Investments Senior Vice President and Chief Client Officer said: "The addition of the US All Cap Growth Fund to our UCITS range provides European investors looking for exposure to US equities with an opportunity to benefit from this investment approach, which has a strong track record of delivering returns and outperforming its peers in the US.”

The Fund aims to attract institutions as well as distributors across the UK, Continental Europe and Middle East.

American Century Investments is a privately controlled investment management firm with $108.9bn assets under management as at 31 October 2011. It offers actively managed investment disciplines through an array of products including UCITS, institutional separate accounts, mutual funds, commingled trust and sub-advisory accounts.

James E. Stowers Jr. founded the company in 1958. Through American Century Investments’ ownership structure, more than 40% of the firm’s profits support research to help find cures for gene-based diseases including cancer, diabetes and dementia.
