Rainer Lenzin will concentrate on developing and expand the position of Pioneer Investments in the country.
Based in Zurich, Rainer will directly report directly to Fabien Madar, Head of Western and Northern Europe.
Commenting on this appointment Madar said, “Switzerland is an important strategic market within our European and global footprint. We recognise the importance of local knowledge and relationships in delivering a focused and empowered asset management business. Our intention is to develop our business proposition, providing specialist expertise and distribution strength to our Swiss clients.”
With 14 years of experience, Rainer joins from BNY Mellon Asset Management, Zurich where he was responsible for the management of wholesale clients in Switzerland. Prior to that, he was Director of Institutional Equity Sales to Switzerland, Netherlands and Germany at Lehman Brothers in Zurich. He also gained several years of experience at Credit Suisse Asset Management in Zurich/New York and Dresdner Bank (Switzerland) Inc., Zurich , where he was in private banking.
