The appointment of Jack W. Lin as Head of Asia and Middle East for Pioneer Investments is a further step towards achieving its plans for continued growth in Asia.

In his role, Lin will build on Pioneer's presence in the region and includes ambitious growth plans.

Based in Singapore, Lin will report to Sandro Pierri, Head of Western Europe and International. Commenting on this appointment, Sandro Pierri, said, “Asia is an important growth region for us and as part of our new business plan we have set ourselves ambitious targets to grow our business in Asia. We already have some strong positions in markets such as Taiwan, where we have had excellent results. Leveraging on these achievements, we intend to step up our profile, increasing our existing market penetration and working on new market entrance strategies across the Asia Pacific region."

Pioneer Investments has been working on a new organic growth plan over the last months and as a part of this, a series of initiatives are underway. Following on from the recent announcement of the new London Emerging Markets Hub, this move to further strengthen its presence in Asia and other key emerging markets maintains the momentum of Pioneer Investments’development plans.

Lin joins from Janus Capital where he held the position of Head of Asia Pacific since 2008. Prior to that he was with Franklin Templeton.
