Professional Adviser, supported by the Chartered Insurance Institute, today launches a new initiative to help advisers achieve and maintain the highest levels of professionalism.

What is Investing in the Profession?

We will be running a series of articles in Professional Adviser and IFAonline.co.uk in the run-up to RDR and beyond, all with a single aim - to help you prove to your clients and regulators that you really are very, very good at what you do.

Keep an eye out for our Investing in the Profession logo (see above), which will flag up features, guides, Q&As and videos helping you improve and demonstrate your professionalism.

Read our first Investing in the Profession article HERE.

Why are we launching it?

Professional Adviser and IFAonline.co.uk readers already demonstrate high levels of professionalism. We know it and your clients know it.

But there will always be more potential clients than there are actual customers and, at the moment, the consensus view among the general public is one of mistrust toward financial services.

Investing in the Profession is our small contribution to helping us all change that view.

When will it run?

Indefinitely. Professional Adviser and IFAonline.co.uk are committed to staying the course with advisers beyond RDR.

How can you help?

You know more about your job than we do. Help us help you with suggestions on ways to boost and demonstrate professionalism. This invitation goes out to advisers, product providers, trade bodies, consumers.

To get involved, contact the editor of Professional Adviser and IFAonline, Katrina Baugh, HERE.
