HSBC Workplace Retirement Services (WRS) has launched an online portal allowing secure access for members, employers and advisers.

WRS is a service created in November 2010 for advisers and employee benefit consultants (EBCs) to provide defined contribution (DC) pension products to corporate clients.

The new portal offers full, 24-hour transactional capability for HSBC's retirement products. It can also be branded with employers' logos or corporate colours.

Rob Pearce, head of WRS at HSBC, said: "The investment in this portal demonstrates HSBC's commitment to the workplace market and enhances our proposition to IFAs and EBCs."
