Employee benefit consultant Bluefin Corporate has launched Retirement Gateway, a suite of tools to help employees plan their retirement.

The gateway is available through Bluefin's benefits portal Orbit, and offers video guides on retirement planning, information and support as well as an interactive notebook.

This allows employees to add and save information on all their savings as well as their Bluefin benefits, such as state pensions, ISAs and other pension entitlements.

Robin Hames, head of technical, marketing and research for Bluefin, said the gateway will help employees plan their retirement and will prompt them to seek independent financial advice when necessary.

"Retirement Gateway is the final part of our comprehensive knowledge centre on Orbit," said Hames.

"Bluefin believes technology is the key to the future of employee benefits and we are committed to ongoing development of Orbit to continuously improve our proposition."
