In last week's poll we asked: Where do you see the main areas of growth in the annuity market?
Over two thirds (67%) of those who answered the poll said they thought fixed term annuities would be a major growth area.
This was followed by impaired/enhanced annuities which were mentioned in 22% of cases.
Asset backed annuities were mentioned by more than one in ten participants with 11% saying they believed they would form a main growth areas in the annuity market. No-one who answered the poll thought variable annuities would be a major growth area.
