Technical Connection’s Tony Wickenden will headline a series of tax planning and investment seminars run by Ascentric for advisers and paraplanners.

The seminars, which kick-off on May 16 in London before going to Bristol (May 17) and Birmingham (May 19), will provide an overview of tax and legislative changes in 2011/12 and their significance on tax wrappers including SIPPs and offshore and onshore bonds.

Wickenden will be joined by speakers from HSBC and Pointon York, who will provide practical support on business opportunities arising from the new legislation.

The seminars carry three CPD points and delegates will also have access to Technical Connection's knowledge management platform, Techlink Professional, until the end of the year.

"Our aim is to deliver a thought-provoking seminar to advisers on tax planning that will have real significance for the advice they give their clients, and identify new and profitable business generation opportunities," says Ascentric sales and marketing director Richard Goodall (pictured).
